Will Gordon to Honor Charlie at the RBC Heritage

This week in South Carolina at the RBC Heritage on Hilton Head Island, Will will be sporting towels designed by Charlie.

Charlie was expected to be a completely healthy baby, but on the day he was born he was diagnosed with Craniosynostosis, a birth defect that caused the soft spots of his skull to fuse together prematurely. His head was misshapen, and if left untreated, it would have prevented his brain from having room to grow. At just 3 months old, baby Charlie underwent a long, extensive surgery of the skull to correct this condition. Thanks to the compassionate, expert care at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, Charlie is now a normal, happy, healthy 7-year-old who loves sports, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and playing outside!
